💥Finally been given my induction💥

So I am 40+1 weeks pregnant and i have Gestational Diabetes. I have finally been given my induction date Monday 13th @12. For those of you that had it done is it worse than going into labour naturally?

As I’ve heard the contractions are worse and that it’s more painful? Which is freaking me out.

Also they said I can have the sweep now... which is great but my midwife is only in on Mondays/Tuesdays so thats no good as I’ll be in hospital on Monday 😂😂🤷‍♀️ and it’s takes 48hrs for it to take effect if it works.

Not sure where I could go to go and get one if midwife isn’t available to be honest any ideas?
