Flu shot?

So little man gets his shots next week. They want to do his flu shot too. My friends son was born the same day as mine. He got his yesterday and cried non stop for hours. What's everyone's opinions on the flu Shot?

I'd rather get the vaccine and deal with a few days of fussy baby rather than potentially get the flu and be hospitalized or die. But that's just me.

Baby got hers on the 3rd at exactly 6 months. They do it as a two dose thing so we will be back next month for the second shot. 
I personally would rather have a fussy baby for a day than a baby critically ill in the hospital which is why we did it. 
Like someone else said, everyone reacts differently so just because your friend’s baby was fussy, doesnt mean yours will be too

Everyone handles shots differently. I say do the shot. We have to for daycare anyway.

Not worth it. The shot is for only one specific strain(common). Strains mutate and you could be have the shot and then catch another type of flu. Also keep in mind it’s the same flu shot for the entire year. Every year a new flu shot is sent to the public. So if you are getting a flu shot not in flu season, it is possible you are not getting the “common” flu that is expected to be there during flu season. I used to get them all the time because I was required to at my hospital yet I still got the flu. My son has never had the flu shot or been sick.

My LO got his first flu shot last night and took it like a champ! He cried for less than a minute and was fine when we got home. They gave him Tylenol before then shot then I gave 
Him more when we got home a few hours later. He did run a little warm this morning so I gave him a little more meds this morning and so far he’s doing good. I say get the shot!!! It’s better than a sick baby! 😕🤒😷

Definitely get the shot. I dont think itd the shot that caused it, it was probably a not as skilled nurse. When I got mine my arm was SORE for like 36 hours and it kinda hurt when he did it. When my husband got his someone else did it and he barely felt it after. So I'm guessing its where/how they did it rather than the actual shot. 
The flu is so bad this year and can be deadly for babies. It would have to be somethibg much more severe than upset for a few hours to even consider not getting it.
