Does anyone else feel bad when..

your LO tries so hard to reach for something, and you take it out from in front of them. It makes me feel sooo bad, even though I know she can't have it and it'll be bad if she gets it. I don't know why! I guess it's because she gets so excited and uses all her little might to reach just to have it taken away.

Another example is when I'm eating something she can't, and her mouth is wide open and I don't give her any 😭 Or, when I'm holding her while doing something, and she tries to grab stuff out of my hand. I'll say, "No no, Ellie. You can't have that." I say it nicely of course, but I just feel so sad for her. It's stupid. I know. She doesn't understand it yet but soon she'll be crying over not getting what she wants. That'll be tough for me too. I just wish babies understood that we're just trying to keep them safe.

I don't put her in front of anything terrible btw. I'm talking about drinks, napkins, my glasses, my phone, the TV remote, makeup, hair brush, etc.
