Unduction date and I'm not happy with it
Please hear me out. Our family is going through one of its toughest times. My husband's hours of work has decreased tremendously since October and we've had rough problems with moving into our new home. 1st it was heat and air, 2nd it was septic, 3rd time its our piping and field line, now its something, we think, has to do with our heat and air unit causing our electric bill to be sky high. My husband is the only one to work because I'm physically unable to right now and even when I could or can he refuses child care or daycare around our area for our children. I'm pregnant with our 3rd baby, my oldest goes to school and my 2 year old stays home with me all day. My husband went to working over 40hrs a week making great money to support our family, down to 20-25 hrs a week meaning living paycheck to paycheck barely getting by. He's looked into other jobs but hasn't had any luck and I feel if he changes from this job that he absolutely loves it will only put strain on our marriage and that worries me.
Anyways back on topic. My Dr has me scheduled to be induced 1/20/2020 which is a Monday meaning my husband would be off the duration of my hospital stay because we live an hour from hospital. I'm delivering early 36 weeks and 3 days, so there could also be nicu times. My mom has offered though that when we come home she would be more than willing to come stay and help while he works. I want to ask my Dr to move the induction by two days from 1/20/2020 to 1/18/2020 at 36weeks and 1 day so he could more than likely be able to go to work by Tuesday, Monday if baby has no nicu stay. Am I being selfish for this trying to take care of my other children and trying to get my husband to work as many hrs as he can. This will be the first really hard month since October. Literally the worst. We're struggling to buy groceries and gas for trips to school and Dr's appointments.
