A lady posted this in one of my subreddits, and I immediately needed to share it. I figure it might bring some comfort to any number of you, as it did for me.
“I'm a nurse, emergency/critical care and flight 20+ years. I've taken care of countless patients that have miscarried, I myself have had 4 miscarriages along with 5 healthy kids. One of the things I always tell my patients (and to be honest, also my friends) that miscarry is this... I remind them that infants/babies that die are perfect spirits in every way. They have not made mistakes in this world or sinned. They have nothing to be forgiven for and to that end, they also must be eternally perfect, much like our Savior. They didn't need to come to this earth for any other reason than to get a physical body (like our Savior) and then return to heaven complete. Then the really special part is to have the knowledge that this mother was chosen to be a vector for this perfect soul to return quickly to heaven without having to endure the pain, suffering and testing that we must all endure here in this earth... That there is a perfect child waiting for her in heaven.”
