Rash? Eczema ?

Hey parents! So my son has had this patch on his face, it’s red & bumpy. I do moisturize his face & I brung it up to his pediatrician and was told to just keep moisturizing his skin & it should go away. It’s been two months now and it’s still there. I’m not sure if this is a rash or eczema or what. Has this happened to anyone else? Any tips if so! Should I change his pediatrician?!

I’m going to attach a photo. It’s near his ear, small but noticeable.
