Vulvar/vagina pain in early pregnancy

I am 6 weeks today and I’ve experienced dull cramping since finding out I was pregnant at 3.5 weeks. Yesterday, I started having what felt like a shooting/sharp pain down towards my vagina area. It comes and goes, but it feels sharper than the dull cramping I have in my lower abdomen area. We’ve been TTC for over a year and just found out we were pregnant for the first time, so I am terrified this is the start of a miscarriage. Has anyone experienced this and went on to have a healthy pregnancy?
