Can stress cause health problems to my unborn child ?

At 14 weeks pregnant my life fell apart when my boyfriend went to jail . Now I have to move back in with my parents cuz I can’t afford rent I dropped out of school to work and I cry everyday cuz I feel like my life is ruined I’m 25 weeks todaii and people say I’m small .. I go see a therapist twice a month now to get myself together .. my mom tells me everyday to stop stressing because something can be wrong with my baby .. now I’m scared becuz I feel like I messed up my child already 🤦🏾‍♀️ can stress make my baby have health problems please somebody help I’m scared

You're so strong and beautiful mama!! You're baby will be fine, I too have went thru a lot of stress this pregnancy and at one point thought I was going to have to go to a shelter! But my baby is fine. Your bump is beautiful and looks perfect to me for 25 weeks! Keep your head up baby and I hope they let your mans out!!

Stress can potentially cause anxiety for the baby later in life, but not serious health issues. I’ve been in difficult circumstances my whole pregnancy and I’ve been pretty stressed. My mother kept saying “happy mom, happy baby,” which only made me feel worse. Obviously, not stressing is ideal. But you’ll be okay. Do whatever you can to make it through your pregnancy, you haven’t messed up already or anything like that.

in the first trimester, its believed that stress can cause a miscarriage but when you’re further along, i think people’s main concern is that the baby feels what you’re feeling basically.. you know what i mean?

From what I learned, it's a myth that stress can cause a miscarriage. However, it can cause the baby to be low birth rate. Not saying this is 100% facts, but just from what I learned in school and from stuff I read

My husband lost his job while I was pregnant with my 2nd. I was so stressed, cried pretty much daily, hardly slept. That baby is almost 6 now and is perfectly healthy.
