Flu exposure?

How long after being exposed to the flu will you start seeing symptoms if you caught it. My three-year-old son was exposed to the flu four days ago but just has a little stuffy nose and a slight cough I don’t know if he may have caught the flu and symptoms are just now coming on or what he is acting fine though￼￼

My husband came down with the flu on Saturday. My 3 year old came down with it on Tuesday. And my 15 month old came down with it on Wednesday. I still have managed to avoid it so far, which is good because I'm 12 weeks pregnant.
