A break

Isn’t taking a break In a relationship like breaking up? My bf told me he needs a break because he things we been arguing to much with each other we been arguing yeah but only because he gets mad over every little thing I say even if I don’t mean it in a bad way n now he wants a break but to me that’s his way of ending the relationship so I’m going to get my stuff today am I wrong for feeling kind of hurt? I feel like at the end of the day no relationship is perfect and you work through things together n it’ll get better not give up so easily
