Baby not laughing?

My son is 4.5 months old and I’ve only heard him laugh once! He smiles a lot, but I can’t make him laugh. When did your babies start laughing and what makes the younger babies giggle?

My second daughter is the exact same way! She just turned one on Christmas Eve and STILL doesn’t laugh much (like a genuine belly laugh). She’ll giggle, but it’s hard to get her too. She’s smiled since she was about 2 months old, though! My first daughter is the complete opposite, she doesn’t stop laughing! LOL!

My baby thought coughing was funny until he figured out he could do it. Then he just coughed all the time. He thought sneezes were hilarious! He just turned one and i still use fake sneezes to get him to smile in pics.

I got my son to laugh on accident lol. I just finished changing his diaper and I put my hands on the bed on each side of him and kissed him but I kinda put a lot of pressure so he bounced a tiny bit and he thought it was the funniest thing ever so I did it again and he cracking up. Lol

my littlest one rarely laughs (9 months) but if one of his siblings does something he cracks up with no problem.

My baby didn’t laugh until she was 6 months old!! Nothing was funny enough and she didn’t like being tickled until recently! She’s 7 months now
