Fever in 1 year old

Jessica

I know most of you guys probably are not doctors. I’m not looking for medical advice just those who went something similar tell me it’s nothing so I can go back to sleep lol. My son turned one 2 months ago. He’s been perfectly fine, other than a little cough that will coke and go. I like in chicago it’s freezing right now a little cough didn’t worry. Well Friday night I came home from work around 1 am, went to bed and at 2 my son woke me up he was crying. I just figured he didn’t want to sleep in his crib so I went to grab him and he was burning up y’all. Like whole body burning up. I so stripped naked wrapped him in a thin blanket. Gave him some tylonal. And stayed up with him all night. In the morning he woke me up again by trying to get out of the bedroom. I opened the door for him and he went screaming and running to tackle his sister. You woulda never thought the night before happened based on his behavior in the morning. I felt his head and it was a tad bit warmer than the rest of his body. He’s always been a hot baby and by the way he was acting I wasn’t alarmed. I gave him another dose of tylonal and we went about our day. I dropped off at the babysitter and went to work. She said she gave him a second dose like I asked but that my son was up laughing playing all day, he just didn’t want to nap. Nothing new there. When I got him at 1 am again I checked my son and again head felt a tad bit warmer nothing alarming. He got another dose of Tylenol and off to bed. And now at 6 am he woke me up screaming. Whole body burning up. What does it mean when babies only get fevers at night?
