Does this make me a bad person?

I grew up in a Christian home ✝️ therefore I’m Christian. I’m fascinated by dark things such as “Satan”, death, scary movies, dark magic, and ancient stuff. (I don’t do black magic fyi 🙄) it’s just things that I research just for more knowledge and the art that they portray in pictures fascinated me. Am I bad person... does it go against what I believe in? Or I can’t be fascinated by things like that if I’m Christian?

Agreed with the other comments about your beliefs being your own. I would also say being interested in darker stuff isn’t bad at all. I’m not as interested in it as others, but I love dark stuff. The macabre is a favorite of mine, and Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. I especially love dark movies. Those are fascinating to me and endless entertainment. One of my favorite movies is even Seven. So no, I don’t think it makes you a bad person. Just be careful though. There’s a reason many people are cautious about dark stuff. It can get bad quick. So can “light stuff,” but dark stuff attracts a different breed of people. Most are nice. But not all.

As others said, being raised in a Christian home doesn’t mean you are a Christian. I was raised in a Christian home too but I haven’t been a Christian since I was 14. I think something to think about is your question “does it go against what I believe in?” What YOU believe in is not determined by the religion your family follows but what YOU hold to be true. So what do you believe? 
I think the best way to find the answer to whether or not your fascination with dark things is aligned with your beliefs is to take some time to contemplate what it is you yourself believe. If you feel lost maybe the first step is Bible study, since the answer to whether or not this fascination is Christian lies in the instruction on how to live that is in the Bible.

It doesn’t make you a bad person. I agree with the other comment saying that growing up in a Christian home doesn’t make you Christian. To answer your question... it depends on who you ask. Some people believe that Christianity can be blended with other paths. There are Christian witches out there and other blended paths as well. If you ask a Christian... I’m sure the answer would be no... and they would advise you to stay away from that type of thing.
