Cat appreciation post

I don’t know how we got so lucky. My fiancé and I adopted our first fur baby together back in October and shes been the most wonderful cat I could have ever asked for. Miss Annelle (her given name that we didn’t change) had been returned to the shelter twice before we adopted her. Both of her owners were elderly and passed away while she was in their care. Once we heard her story we couldn’t help but adopt her right then so she could live out her days in one permanent home. So far it’s been 3 months and she’s been so great even though we made a huge move several states away (unexpected job change). She’s so loving and such a good kitty. She’s my first cat and I think she’s converted me from being strictly a dog owner to a lover of kitties as well.
