When does a baby start having water?

When their kidneys were developed. At 6 months. Before that could literally kill them and I liked my kid enough to not kill them.

I don't offer water until 12 months. Breast milk or formula has the fats and calories that baby needs for proper growth and development in the first year.

They aren’t supposed to have water until 6 months and even then I think I read it should only be 2 ounces a day
