To sin on purpose!!

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

So once we have heard the word of God whether it was a preached/taught word or we read it for ourselves; if we continue in that sin we make Jesus sacrifice for us void. To sin on purpose is to deny the power of God and it is crucifying Jesus afresh. So in other words on purposeful sin is like be one of soldier who beat Christ, or the people who mocked Christ the day he was crucified. Verse 27 is say when we go back to sin that God called us out of we are essentially inviting the punishment that God has for satan to come to us. Which we know that the Judgement will be hells fire, worms, torments and the wrath of God. Verse 28-29 Paul explains that if in Moses days two or three people words could get you stoned, burned, killed with the sword,etc if they said you transgressed the Mosaic laws. And there was no mercy to be had for you. Then how much worse will out punishment be when the Lord himself speaks out against us? So I say to you my sisters don't let this world lead you astray and cause you to stumble. But look to the bible for your answers and pray often for directions.
