Chlymadia

I was recently told I tested positive for chlymadia. I have only had one sexual partner since my last test. I didn’t notice any symptoms at all until 11/27, when I noticed some yeast infection-like symptoms. They have come and gone over the past month or so. I did have a physical in August and my urinalysis didn’t detect any bacteria. I was wondering if anyone would know if a urinalysis would have detected the bacteria, or of there is any way to know when I contracted it? I want to know what kind of conversation I need to have with my partner.
