Breeder would want us to rehome a pup

So it's a complex situation..

We had a dog from a breeder, she wasn't a full match with our family, let's say we have a complex situation, we have time for a dog and experience to raise them but we have a home situation that needs some stress resilience and flexibility.

The dog we had, we had her beautifully raised, but she had issues with the stress of being in our home during the "stressfull periods" , having her in a crate or the garden or locked away from us during the "stress" times was not an option for us as we wanted her to be a family dog and being locked up is also just not a life for a dog, not a life we want for any dog. She wasn't misbehaving badly but we could clearly see that certain things really bothered her and could potentially become a problem, we consulted a vet, and several trainers and the breeder for advise, but they couldn't really help, she just wasn't stress resilient enough to be a good match for our home and it could potentially escalate to be a dangerous situation where she could become reactive to get away from the stress.

So the breeder wanted her to come back to her home and she is keeping our dog, not placing her elsewhere so we can still visit her.

So now the breeder contacted me, since our dog was so beautifully raised, but ended up being not such a good match she would like us to think about rehoming another pup that was brought back...

And I feel like that is such a nice gesture, definitely because even though we had a problem she still sees us as good dog parents ❤️ and has that trust in us, but we are not ready for a new dog mentally, we are also scared because our situation hasn't changed and it might be too much for any dog and we really don't want to go through the heartbreak again if thesame thing happens again. 💔

Update:

I didn't elaborate on the stress because there's extremely judgy people here who always seem to know better and have solutions for everything.. But we have sought the advise of several professionals as well as people extremely well known with the breed so we have had professional opinions about it and I am convinced people on here wouldn't know better than actual professionals who have assessed our dog and our situation in person.

We are not taking in another dog.. But our breeder being so convinced about us and how we raised our dog is a huge compliment, because we did lack that confidence now, but also very hurtful because thinking of having another dog and even knowing we're not going to do it makes us miss our dog even more.

I wasn't really looking for advise, more so support really
