Does anyone have a before and after photo of skin chemical peel??

Or at least tell me about your experience :) part of my 2020 resolution is to finally do something about my acne and scars and right now I’m considering chemical peel.

I don’t have any of the pictures on this phone, but I’ve done two chemical peels! I’m terrible when it comes to pimples because I always pop them and mess with them and then end up with scarring. I had really bad scarring on my cheeks and then a little bit on my forehead and chin. So the first peel I did was more of a beginner one they called it because it was mild. Basically they clean your face and then soak cotton pads in the solution and rub them on your face. The lady did that probably 5 times but did I think 2 extra on my cheeks. It definitely stung but she used a fan to keep the pain down. The peeling started on day two and lasted a few days. I wouldn’t say my whole face peeled the same because it was really obvious around my mouth and then peel outward. The lady told me I could wear makeup but i don’t think it would’ve looked good so I just made sure to moisture. My second peel was a lot more intense and basically the same process took place, except she didn’t put the solution on as many times. This one made my face peel for a week and it didn’t matter how much moisturizer I put on it didn’t really help. I would recommend doing them when you don’t have to go out a lot because the sun isn’t good to be in and the peeling is not pretty. But I love my results! I definitely saw a change after the first one, but I’ve been told it takes 3-4 to get perfect results and have no scarring. After doing two I really don’t even see much scarring just a few of the more intense ones on my cheeks. I totally recommend them though! If you have anymore questions I’d love to help!

A friend of mine used to have really bad acne she ended up going to a dermatologist and getting treatments and was left with lots of scars over the years. The chemical peel you look scary when it’s done and painful.  Your face is beet red. But she looks great after and would never know she even had any issues before perfect skin.
