Would you breast feed why or why not?

I’m pregnant and everyone is trying to pressure me into breast feeding and I don’t want to. My boobs are super sensitive and I really don’t want to do it and rather do formula. My mom did it with me and I’m fine. My doctor even is pressuring me and I think it’s wrong to do that to someone. Opinions??

I didn’t want to so I didn’t and don’t regret it. He’s 16 months now. I’m pregnant with my second and won’t be breastfeeding her either.

I was like that with my first. We did formula and it was fine. Don’t let anyone pressure you or make you feel a certain way. I’m really weird about my boobs and dont like them being touched at all. I’m going to attempt it this time but I’d rather just get set up on a pumping schedule and do that. I’m not gonna be heartbroken if we have to use formula again.

To me I look at it as if would I like the thought of me sucking on my mams tit when I was a baby and it’s a big no I would not so that’s y I never Brest feed and will not be doing with baby number 4 but each to there own some people will do it and some don’t

If you don’t want to do it then don’t do it. I’ve breastfed both babies because I wanted to. Even then it was hard mentally and I wanted to give up, so if you have no want to do it then don’t make yourself.

It’s ur baby u choose what u want to do.  I can’t stand when people try to mom shame moms who don’t breast feed.  I don’t have kids yet not sure yet if I will breast feed if I decide to it will be for at the most 3 months and anyone has an issue with it then They no longer needs to be in my circle.

I would it's so much more convenient then the bottle, but this said it's not always possible and the bottle is ok too. Your choice really maybe you can givevit a go and if you don't like it change to the bottle either way your baby will be just fine.

For me, washing bottles was way worse than anything with breastfeeding. I'm not good at being on top of dishes on my best days and the idea of adding all that extra on top of it sounded like a nightmare. We did it for nearly 2 weeks when they wanted us to supplement and I'm not sure how I survived. And when we stopped having to prepare middle of the night bottles my life improved greatly. If you're really against it, don't do it. But it's worth a try

I'm currently breastfeeding my 3rd baby! It's a great experience for ME but it's not for everyone. Dont let anyone pressure you into doing something you don't want to do. A fed baby is a happy baby! Do what is comfortable to you!😊
