Our Hope❤

This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord .

Lamentations 3:21‭-‬26 KJV

Verse 21 We have be able to remind ourselves of the promises of God. Whether it be scriptures or prophesy that was spoken over us. We need the ability to reach back. That's what the Holy Spirit is for to help us remember.

Verse 22 Mercy is compassion, the ability to not pay people back in accordance to what they deserve. The ability to hold back punishment or vengeance. I believe we all can look back on some stuff we did that God should have just killed us for. But His mercy allowed is to live on, his mercy allowed us time to get right with him.

Verse 23The bible declares that each day we awake we recieve new mercies. God does this that we dont get consumed in his wrath. Thank You Jesus! But when we wake each morning its mercy that wakes up with us. That we can make right our wrongs and do better than we did the previous days.

Verse 24 The Lord is the my allotted portion for my soul. This scripture is so powerful in that it screams if I have nothing else as long as I have the Lord I have all I need. I can hope in the Lord but all other things are worthless.

Verse 25 If you wait on God, if you seek Him then the Lord will be good to you. That doesn't mean we want experience hardship but we can go through hardship knowing that as long as we continue to wait on God and seek God some good will come.

26 The scripture says it all. We need to hope and wait on God. Not with mumbling and complaining but be quiet and wait on God and He'll deliver us from whatever it is.
