Telling my Parents I'm expecting!

So it will be my husbands birthday on the 20th and on the 19th my family wanted to get together and have a birthday party for him. So that's being planned and I been trying to decide how to announce.

I think I figured it out.

When were all done and about to do the cake I tell my husband I have a gift for him. I hand him a box but then he says that for his birthday he actually has a gift for my parents and hand them the box.

This is what I plan to have in the box with some pink and blue tissue paper under and maybe a pair of socks.

What do tall think?
