When is the appropriate time for dad to have visitation alone?

My daughter is 6 weeks old. Her father and I are not together, never were. He was absent my whole pregnancy up until a month before she was born. He’s been coming over about twice a week and every other weekend since she was born. (Sometimes only once a week)

I’m just wondering, for those of you who have been single since baby was born, or shortly after. How old was baby when you let dad have a day visitation alone as well as an overnight?

I’m exclusively breastfeeding, and he’s also not that great with her. I wouldn’t trust him alone with her for a very long time as he has absolutely no idea how to even hold a baby. I was thinking a day alone won’t happen until she’s 8 months - 1 year. Is that appropriate or too long? Overnights, I don’t think will happen until she’s a year old.
