Go to a wedding?
Soooo this weekend I have a wedding to go to and it’s a little bit further north, out of all the days it’s now going to snow 1-3 at night inches and then another inch mixed with rain = Ice in the late night hours, where the wedding is the weather says 1-3 day and an additional 1-3 at night. I get so nervous driving in the weather and even being a passenger, my toddler will be at home with a sitter. My question is should I say I can’t attend the wedding due to the inclement weather? Still send a gift? Or is that rude and messed up? I feel horrible but I get nervous about the drive even coming back and on the weekends they don’t pave the roads like during the week, I’m stressed! Or should I try to go to just go the church ceremony which is in the afternoon and not the reception but still give a gift? Or am I totally over reacting and should attempt the reception? What do you ladies think? I’m getting anxiety and stressing. Thank you so much!
