Potty Training Advice? (Twin Boys)

Sooo I’m just gonna start off by saying it’s been a long work in progress. It’s started with them letting me know they were aware what poop and pee was. Then it progressed to them ripping off their clothes & diapers 🤦🏻‍♀️ They were too scared at the time to use the potty (they have a little toilet lol). They were only ab 1 & 1/2 when this started. BUT just a few weeks ago they started REALLY fighting me to rip off those diapers AND they have spent the past few months watching both my husband & I use the restroom. My one son Easton even hands me the toilet paper and flushes the toilet lmao

But a couple of days ago they BOTH went pee in the BIG actual toilet (I was holding them) and that was HUGE! That was about 2 days ago. TONIGHT my son Weston has discovered that he can control his own pee. And when I asked him if he was done he shook his head and continued to pee!

So now it’s just a matter of getting him to actually do it on the potty. They’re 2 yrs and 2 months old. Easton doesn’t understand how to control his pee yet but I think he knows how to poop & is just too shy to do it in front of me.

I’m not really sure how to do this? The only reward they want is my acknowledgement that they used the “big boy potty”. I tried to reward them for doing it & they wanted no parts lmao Just a hive five && a hug lol

And also I have tried training pants with them but I don’t think they’re ready yet, they still soil them. We have switched to using pull ups & they seem to keep those on now.
