Small Head Circumference

Am I just looking for things to worry about?

I’ve been concerned about my daughter’s head circumference for about a month now. She’ll be 12mo Feb 3rd and her head circumference is currently 17in which is in the 5th percentile. I haven’t had a chance to bring it up to her Dr. yet. Her Dr. hasn’t measured her head since she was really little and I honestly haven’t even thought about it until I noticed how small her head really is.. her head was totally average at birth and the last time they measured it.

She’s meeting/exceeding all of her milestones. I personally can’t feel her soft spots anymore but I’m also not a doctor, so they could still be there, I’m not sure. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyone else experience this with their little and it not turn out to be Microcephaly? Should I make a doctors appt before her 12mo checkup or am I being crazy?
