Fever help!

LO is 4.5 months old. He started coughing about a day or two ago. Tonight he started his first fever. It was 101 when I took his temp at 9pm. I called doc and doc said to give him 1/2 tsp Tylenol and that he doesn’t need to go to hospital. He was still relatively warm so at 12:30 I gave another dose. We took a nap and he woke up at 2:30 at 102.1 so I gave him a bath and he’s now 101.8.... is this normal?! Seems pretty warm guys 😷🥴😩
