ER or wait it out??

Should I go to the ER if I’ve had on & off spotting at 6 weeks? I called my doctor & she just moved up my first appointment to 2 weeks from now

The sad reality is, they can’t do anything for you even if you’re miscarrying. I’d wait it out to see your regular doctor.

A lot of people have spotting with no issues. Plus, ER can’t do anything about it. Unless you are pouring out blood, stay home.

No. Unless you are filling a pad within an hour for 3 hours or more, are in excruciating pain, or your OB says to, do not go to the ER.

I went to the ER last weekend for 6 weeks bleeding, only reason I did was bc I didn’t know my blood type and my OB said we need to know if I’m RH+ or RH-, if I was RH- I would have to take some form of medication so my blood and the babies blood didn’t mix and cause issues with future pregnancies. If you know your blood type I wouldn’t mess with it! I was there 6 hours to be told my blood type and that everything would be fine lol

I had spotting at 6 weeks. I was super worried but there is nothing they can do to prevent a miscarriage unfortunately. I waited until my appointment and asked my doctor. She wasnt concerned, she said it was most likely implantation bleeding from the baby nuzzling in. I'm currently 14 weeks. I know its nearly impossible, but try not to worry. Go to the ER if you want peace of mind. Spotting is normal sometimes

ER is a waste of time. Only go if you are filling a pad an hour bc that means you have a hemorrhage.  Spotting can be normal or it can be a miscarriage.  Unfortunately there’s nothing to be done if it’s a miscarriage.

You’re going to be worried about it all night so I would definitely go get seen. It’s better to be safe than sorry you know.
