Proposing to my man..help

So iv decided to propose to my man ...do u ladies think its a good idea or should i leave it and wait for him ?...so i brought this box and some rose petal and printed 25 pictures on which i have wrote notes on telling him what he means to me with the final one popping the question .the notes/photos have been put it order and tied together in a red ribbon.i thought would put some petals on the floor in a circle with the box on top with tealight candles shaped in a heart around that...is this a good idea idea ladies ? I plan o cooking a romantic meal before hand and have some new lingerie whoch he will see forst before the box. P.s we have been together 4 1/2 years and are actively trying for a baby but need medical assistance we have lived together 4 years just recently brought a house together he has taken my son on as his own and we have 3 furbabies posted anonymously in case he sees the post is me lol
