Lump in my labia...

So i have a huge bump in my labia, its been there for a while but i dont notice it too much because its usually so small and i forget its there. But i just ended my period today and haven’t shaved ( i usually shave every other day) also and it hurt so i went to shave and i noticed the lump was huge, red and it really hurts to touch. It feels like a huge ball under my skin and idk what to do. Idk if i should wait it out or ask advice or get over the counter meds or see a doctor but if anyone knows or has dealt with something like this please give advice!
