Oh yeah my son has been doing this for quite some time. I call them my breastfeeding battle scars

My son does the same, when it starts really hurting I know it’s time to cut his nails

Yup! As soon as one bruise heals, he give me another. I think it's a soothing thing for him because if I move his hand away then he smacks himself in the head and has always done that. I'd rather have him smack my chest than his head. Sometimes I can give him a blanket to hold and that helps, other times he wants nothing to do with the blanket.
