Missed 9/10 month check up?

So I just found out a 9/10 month doctor check up exists... but my pediatrician told us we won’t see him again until my son is 1 year old. Our last check up was at 6 months.

I was kind of suspicious that he wasnt doing too thorough of a job, but now I’m kind of peeved.

I dunno if I’m over reacting though.

Did everyone have a 9 month check up? Or did their doctors do the same thing where it was 6 months and then at 12 months?

If this is normal then maybe I’ll just stay, otherwise I’m looking for a new pediatrician ASAP. 😩
