Confusing fiancé...

When I bring up wedding planning to my fiancé, he immediately shuts me down.

“We have time.”

“You’re rushing things.”

“You’re just too excited.”

A while back, we had a goal of getting married in 2020, I’m okay if it gets pushed out a little farther but when I try to ask him what he wants, he says I’m just in a rush? I’m just trying to make sure we’re both still on the same page and get a feel for what he’s thinking. We’ve been together 6.5 years, what’s the delay?

I’m getting pretty confused and frustrated over his responses towards me. I’m trying not to be overbearing but I’m really bothered by this topic.

Any advice????
