EIF in pregnancy

Today I had my 19 weeks anatomy scan. Other than measuring about 5 days behind, my daughter is fine. But the ultrasound did show a tiny little spot on the ultrasound near her heart, in which the DR had mentioned EIF. He said he would bet money that it’s just because the ultrasound is really sensitive and she’s fine. Especially since all testing, including my genetic testing showed no abnormalities. He said I could go see a specialist in case I wanted a second opinion; they would just more than likely tell me I was worried for no reason. But because EIF can be associated with Downs he wanted to tell me. I left the office sobbing in my car. Has anyone else had this experience with their pregnancy or precious pregnancies?
