Seriously worried about my sons sleeping lately! Anyone ever experienced this?

My son is 7 months old and for the last few months he has not been sleeping right. He literally flops around all night. He wakes up every few mins eyes closed and tosses and turns all night!! No good sleep. He nurses and I think he’ll sleep again. Nope he flops around more off and on all night. Up and down. I’m actually worried now. Is there something that could cause this? he doesn’t just move in his sleep either it’s like he’s awake and just continues to move and whines. No gas. No belly ache.
