Low lying placenta?

I’m 25 weeks now, but apparently at my 20 week anatomy scan they noted I have a low-lying placenta at 15mm from the cervix. They didn’t even tell me until my appointment yesterday, and apparently there is no need for a follow up scan because 90% of low lying placentas move away from the cervix by term. However, I can’t help but worry as I didn’t have this during my first pregnancy. Anyone else have this?

I was also told that I have a low lying placenta after my anatomy scan... we'll get another US at 28 weeks to make sure it's moved... but in the meanwhile my husband and I were told no sex (or DIYing on my part)- was everyone else told that too? It's torturous!

I was told I had a low lying placenta at my 20 week scan and was put on pelvic rest. Finished up my anatomy scan at 24 weeks and it had moved up.

Mine was low lying at 20 weeks and now at 23 weeks it has moved up and completely out of th way.

I'm 22 weeks and they noticed the same thing at my 20 week anatomy scan. they're scheduling a follow-up scan for around 30 weeks to make sure that it moved out of the way

You have plenty of time for it to slide on up. Mine is anterior and little low but its minor and we’re not concerned. It’s designed to move up as you go. I would be more concerned if it was completely covering the cervix; that’s when it’s less likely to move.

At 19 weeks I had placenta previa, went back last week at 22 weeks to finish my anatomy scan and it’s moved up and now considered low lying but barely away from my cervix. I have another ultrasound in a month because baby is measuring small and they want to get me off pelvic rest so I can be a little more active 
They will probably check you after 30 weeks to see where it’s at but it’s a normal thing that don’t get too worried about
