How do you get baby to move for an ultrasound? At my last ultrasound they told me baby wasn’t moving and to eat before I go to my next one. Is there anything in particular i should eat or drink to get baby moving?

Before my 20 week anatomy scan I drank about half a can of cold coke before I went and baby girl still didn’t wanna move lol. They got all of the shots and measurements they needed except her face because she had it turned towards my back lol. They had my turn on my sides and poked at my belly a little and she finally did move to show us her face ☺️

I ate chocolate beforehand and it did not do a thing. The tech gave me cold orange juice and it did the trick 😊

I have a BPP ultrasound every week and have been told to eat and drink beforehand. I tried a Caramel Frappe the first week (don’t judge! LOL)- she didn’t budge much. Last week, I ate lunch about an hour ahead of time and had OJ on the way- she was still stubborn. Unless I’m eating or drinking during the U/S- she’s going to get poked to move. She’s scored 8/8 each time. This little girl likes Coke from the fountain- I might try that tomorrow before I head in. So I agree with cold and sweet!
