Who knew motherhood would be cuddling with vomit between us.

My poor baby was crying on and on. Nothing was soothing him. I didn't think he was hungry because he just ate but since nothing else was working I gave him another ounce. He was sucking hard on it but crying in between every few suckles. Hearing his tummy rumbling as he cried I realized he was confused and thought his stomach was hurting because he was hungry but really it was just gas. I stopped feeding him and burped him and gave him gripe water. As soon as he started the water I'd hear tummy gurgles and then as immediately once it was gone he vomited all over me and quickly fell asleep. My poor baby, we're currently sitting with vomit between us because he fell asleep immediately I want him to rest before we get up to wash ourselves. Learning their cues is hard 🥺😭
