Random question for moms who got an epidural during labor..... did your urine bag from your catheter have blood in it?

No clue, I never saw it this time. But I've had a catheter several other times and never noticed blood. Why are you asking? Did yours?

Mine stopped draining an hour after putting it in.  They removed it, accidentally broke my water and inserted a new one to no avail, my son’s head was pinching it off. I had the worst water retention because of it and couldn’t be moved from the labor room until I peed which took 3 hours after delivery.

I wasn’t in labor that long. I arrived at the hospital at a 7 So by the time I got the epidural it was only to push...

They’re not supposed to leave it in during labor anymore due to the high risk of infections. They’re supposed to drain them take out.

I didn’t get a bag they would just drain it and then leave and then drain it again later. Happened three times maybe. But no blood from what I saw.
