My husband told me that when he was 12 his step sister came into his room and had him put his penis inside her. She was 17 at the time. They are not blood related in any way. She was his step dads daughter from another woman. Me and his best friend are trying to tell him that she raped him. He was 12 and had no idea what he was doing but he doesn’t think it was rape. Would you think this is rape?

Rape isnt necessarily the violent/traumatic picture that it's usually seen as. He didnt know what was going on and he had no ability to consent, both due to his age and not knowing what was going on. That is rape. Thankfully, he doesnt seem to have any trauma or resentment from it but it is still rape. Like if you kept the main details of the story but changed the ages/genders, it colors it very differently.
