My LO will be 12 weeks on Sunday and she’s been cooing up a storm for about two weeks now. The past few days as she gets to chatting with me she’s been trying to repeat sounds such as if I say girl she’ll go “guuurrrr” or cookie she’ll repeat back “kuh kuh”. But today she said “yeah” clear as day five different times. I know she is just repeating sounds but I about fell over when she said it! I say yeah to her a lot when she is gurgling to me, so I think that’s why she found it easy to repeat.

Anyone else’s LO mimicking words/trying hard to repeat sounds yet?
