Boyfriend has little red dots on below penis head

So my boyfriend and I had not had sex in a while it was probably like almost two months. Prior to that I had gotten my period. And this time around I was about 8 days late which I found off because I hadn’t had sex. Although I was late I told my boyfriend I wanted sex because it’s been a long time. So we had sex without a condom and had asked me if my infection had gone away. I had a yeast infection like a month ago but went away with cream prescribed by doctor. I told him it did and he said he got little red dots below his penis head. Does anyone know what it could be? I have always had sex with without a condom and this has never happened !! Any advice please
