Pooping problems

How often do you poop? Odd question I know, but I've been with my husband 16 years and he seriously can go almost a week without pooping. Today is Wednesday and the last time he pooped was last Thursday. He's told me he seen a doctor before we met and the doctor said it might be normal for him. I think it's odd. The longest I go without pooping is maybe 2 days. I've told him he needed to be seen but he doesn't seem concerned since that doctor told him what he did. Also, he isn't constipated, when he goes it's normal, he has no us we at all going, for whatever reason he just doesn't go often.
