Baby Rash

My little girl is 6 months old and she recently started getting a rash on her chin, at first we thought it was a dribble rash but it’s now going up her cheeks and round the back of her neck as you can see in the pictures. We rang the GP today and they said to ring tomorrow morning for a same day appointment so we will and she will be getting seen. In the meantime does anyone have any idea what the best cream to put on it? We had been using sudocreme which didn’t seem to help, then bepanthen which didn’t stay on at all it rubbed off straight away, we then started using metanium but that dried it out loads and it went really dry and scaly so at the moment we are using palmers cocoa butter which has softened it again.
