Leave the Wedding party?

So I’m in a wedding party(one of the many bridesmaids) when the wedding comes along I will be 33 weeks pregnant. I haven’t told the bride yet. Anyways, how would you feel as the bride or me? Do you think I should offer to just go as a guest? I feel bad that I will be huge and throw off the whole look 😰 I don’t want her to feel obligated to have me apart of it but I don’t want her to be offended if I left. I’d love to be in the wedding just scared she won’t want me anymore.

I definitely would not have cared. I picked my bridesmaids because they were close friends, not because they would look nice and “not pregnant” haha.

I would just say that to her and ask her how she feels. I personally would only care about my bridesmaid's comfort at that point, not about how she looks. I'd love to have my friend's pregnant belly in my wedding pictures... how special to have that moment captured forever!

I get backing out for like financial reasons if you were worried about that but not because you’d “look out of place” you’ll be glowing I’m sure! If she wants you out cause if that he’ll I wouldn’t even go as a guest! I’m sure she’d still love to have you!

My friend found out she was pregnant the morning that we went dress shopping. She was 30 weeks pregnant at the time of my wedding. I didn’t think twice about still having her in my wedding. It didn’t change anything, nor did it change the “look”.

I would just tell her exactly how you feel and let her decide what she wants to do. Don’t assume she will just ask for you not to be in her wedding if it was me and I asked you to be there I wouldn’t care how big you are, I’d just want you there as long as it was safe for you to be there (meaning you aren’t 40 weeks and possibly going to go into labor at the reception)

I wouldn’t have cared at all as long as you have a dress that fits! I’d let her know so she’s not thrown off guard if something comes up, but she’d be a shit friends to throw you out for that in my opinion

Anyone who would care about that would be a truly shitty friend!! There's no reason for you to consider leaving the bridal party unless YOU think you'll have a problem (something like if you have to travel really far).
