We just started trying again and if we get pregnant this month our son will be a litrle over 2.5. We waited this long for a couple reasons:
I wanted to get back to my pre pregnancy weight and I just made it 🙌🏻 took forever ...
My son has been struggling with some milestones and I wanted to establish his therapy and everything before I get too tired/sick being pregnant
I’m hoping he’s completely done teething by the time baby #2 comes.
I didn’t want to wait any longer because I was them to be close enough in age to still play together and be friends.

I simply wasn’t ready until my son was about 3. My body took a long time to heal and feel whole again and I was overwhelmed with caring for him.
I don’t really worry about age gaps - I have four siblings and I’m closest to the two farthest in age from me.

I have 4 children each with a gap from 1yr 11m to 2yrs 3 months. They are now 7, 5, 3 and 1. Its chaos but we love the fact that they all have each other rather than a big gap.
