Is anybody else dealing with Carpal tunnel ?

For the last week or so I have been waking up in the middle of the night because my hands are tingly and numb. Somedays are worse than others. Like this morning I woke up at 3 AM in such bad pain it made me cry. Both of my hands were tingling with pins and needles.I thought maybe it was the way I was sleeping and maybe it was cutting off the circulation and made my hands fall asleep,so I switched positions,but the numbness wouldnt go away. It was causing my so much pain to just grip the toothbrush,hairbrush or shampoo. And driving to work was miserable. I had to keep alternating my hands on the wheel.Finally after a few hours my right hand felt normal. But my left hand is still hurting soo bad! there is a pain shooting up my arm:( and my hand has been s little swollen all day.anyone have any remedies or tips? I bought a wrist brace I am going to wear tonight.
