Does strep b cause itching and burning ?

I’m currently 33 weeks and 6 days and I’ve been having this itching down there and burning for weeks, i have to get tissue to rub it because it itches very badly and when i decide to rub it with tissue it burns.

No burning with urinating or cottage cheese like discharge.

I even used monistat on multiple occasions and nothing.

The doctor has checked me and doesn’t see a yeast infection or anything and at this point it feels like it’s getting worse.

Next week they’re finally testing me for step b and i keep expressing my concerns but it’s like they don’t know what this issue is.
