Spotting since ovulation

I have a 10 month old, still breastfeeding. I never missed my periods after the post partum bleeding and than my cycles normalised. Just recently this cycle, I have been spotting, since the ovulation day ... Some days it's more than others and now im due for periods and I don't know if it's light period or spotting.

Has anyone of you experienced it?

I'll book in my self with a doctor, but just wanted to know.

I'm not pregnant.
