Me 🙋🏻‍♀️ if you choose to do the one at home make sure you follow the instructions carefully so you don’t contaminate the sample. I went to a ultrasound place that offers the sneak peek test there. They have a phlebotomist that takes the blood.

I will hopefully find out early, but more as a side effect of genetic testing. My first pregnancy resulted in my daughter, who has Down syndrome (and is the greatest kid I could have ever asked for). My next 3 pregnancies ended in losses, likely because of chromosomal abnormalities that were incompatible with life. My OH and I have both had genetic testing and don’t carry anything weird. I’ve had lots of tests and theoretically am 100% healthy. But it keeps happening. If this baby is alive when we get our scan (less than 48 hours to go), I’m going to request bloodwork to check for abnormalities. In that bloodwork, I’ll also find out the sex. I’d love another girl, but it’s low on the list of results I want to see, you know?
